a second coming

Here I've placed screencaps of the new looks of the HBN since its reopening in summer 2004.

Version: 01 - Movie Stars
Comments: Whoooooooo! The grand reopening of the Harmony Bunny Network! Its layout featured Zwei, one of my most favorite Japanese bands. From left to right is Megu and Ayumu (whom I LOVE...Ayumu domenowkthxbye!). The version is titled after their debut single "Movie Star". I was very proud of this layout, although a little critical of what others may have thought. I had been feeling intimidated lately by friends and even random strangers whose creations looked 100x better than mine. I just had to remember that everyone has their own style. This was the first layout I made after putting my newly trained PS skills to use (thanks to my dear friend and host Womby who has helped me greatly with PS 6 and 7), and I was incredibly proud at the time. (It had easily been my best layout in the entire history of the HBN, if you've seen the past ones.) This layout was up from August 9th, 2004 to August 21st, 2005. Hosted at http://sheki.theppn.org/.

Version: 02 - Yui in Blue-m
Comments: I put the HBN on hiatus for about a month after the first version began malfunctioning. The menu wasn't lining up right, things looked awkward, that sort of thing. Finally, I got sick of not having any collective to point to and the week before senior year started I got to work with a new, simple layout featuring Ichikawa Yui, my favorite gravure idol. The title is a play on words, but it's not as funny typed out I suppose. XD This layout was only up for 6 days (August 21st to August 27th, 2005). Hosted at http://sheki.theppn.org/.

Version: 03 - nothing's gonna change my world
Comments: I worked for hours, nay days, on this layout trying to perfect it and get it right. I wanted to reflect my love for the manga NANA and at the same time make an excellent layout. I was EXTREMELY proud of this layout. It was the coolest thing I had done thus far, and I loved to admire it. I put it on hiatus in late March 2006 after making my fanlisting collective, because the majority of it before had focused on my fanlistings. This layout was up from August 27th, 2005, to March 20-something, 2006. Hosted at http://sheki.theppn.org/.

Version: 04 - Reborn
Comments: I put the HBN on hiatus after Jessie bought me my domain name (see version 3 for more comments) but decided in late July that it was time I put my domain to its full use and not let the HBN die again. I think we can all agree this has been the best layout of this page yet. XD It featured Japanese pop singer Mai using images from her single "Reborn", which is also where the title comes from. I felt it fitting. This layout was up from July 30th, 2006 until July 14th, 2007.
